Ruben Machtelinckx
Ruben Machtelinckxは、ベルギーとヨーロッパの即興、実験音楽シーンの傑出したメンバーである。ギタリストとしてだけでなく、作曲家としても活躍している。アーティストとしての道を歩み始めた当初から、彼は個人的なプロジェクトに重点を置いている。
バンドリーダーとして、Arve Henriksen, Ingar Zach, Nils Økland, Hilmar Jensson, Joachim Badenhorst, Frederik Leroux, Niels van Heertum, Toma Gouband, Øyvind Skarbo, Thomas Jillingsといったミュージシャンと10枚のアルバムを発表してきた。
2013年、Machtelinckx/Badenhorst/Jensson/Woutersのカルテットは、デビュー作「Faerge」をリリース。このアルバムは国際的なプレスから賞賛され、KNACK誌の「ベスト・ベルギー・ジャズ・リリース」に掲載された。その後、バンドはセカンドアルバム「Flock」を発表。
また、サックス奏者トーマス・ジリングスとのデュオ、ライナスのメンバーとしても長年活躍している。彼らの素晴らしいデビュー作「Onland」の後、非常にユニークなコラボレーションが行われた。デュオはそのままに、他のテクスチャーやミュージシャンを加えた。フレデリック・ルルー、オイヴィン・スカルボとのコラボレーションによる第1作、ニルス・オークランド、ニールス・ヴァン・ヒールタムとの第2作、ニルス・オークランド、ニールス・ヴァン・ヒールタムとの第3作、第4作はインガー・ザックも加わっている。
サイドマンとしては、Veder、Ifa y Xango、Book of Airなどのバンドで演奏している。フリーランスのミュージシャンとしては、Peter Evans, Iva Bittova, Jakob Bro, Christian Wallumrød, Dré Pallemaertsなど多くのミュージシャンと共演している。
一般的にMachtelinckxの音楽は、甘く優しいメロディーとフォークの影響から、より緊張感と隠れた不穏さを持つ音楽へと進化しているが、しかし歌と緊張の力を手放すことはない。
2017年には、即興音楽と作曲の両方を発行し、しばしば奇妙な相互作用で組み合わされる現代音楽のための独立したレコードレーベル、Aspen Editiesの共同設立者の一人であった。
2020年、アルバム『Porous Structures』でKLARA賞のベスト・ベルギー・ジャズ・リリースを受賞。

Ruben Machtelinckx is a prominent member of the Belgian and European improvised, experimental music scene. As a guitarist, but equally as a composer. Since the very start of his artistic course, he focusses on personal projects.
He has released 10 records as a bandleader including musicians like Arve Henriksen, Ingar Zach, Nils Økland, Hilmar Jensson, Joachim Badenhorst, Frederik Leroux, Niels van Heertum, Toma Gouband, Øyvind Skarbo and Thomas Jillings.
In 2013 the quartet Machtelinckx/Badenhorst/Jensson/Wouters released their debut, ‘Faerge’. The album was praised by international press and was listed ‘Best Belgian jazz release’ by KNACK magazine. Later the band issued a second album, ‘Flock’.
For many years, Machtelinckx is part of Linus, a duo with saxophone player Thomas Jillings. Their lauded debut, ‘Onland’, was followed by very specific collaborations. The duo remained, but other textures and musicians were added. For records were released since: 
the first in collaboration with Frederik Leroux and Øyvind Skarbø, the second with Nils Økland and Niels Van Heertum, the third and fourth again with Nils Økland and Niels Van Heertum but also complemented by Ingar Zach.
As a sideman he plays in bands like Veder, Ifa y Xango and Book of Air. As freelance musician he played with Peter Evans, Iva Bittova, Jakob Bro, Christian Wallumrød, Dré Pallemaerts and many others.
In general Machtelinckx’ music has evolved from sweet and gentle melodies and folk influences to music with more frictions and a hidden discomfort, without however letting go the power of songs and strains.
In 2017 he was one of the co-founders of Aspen Edities, an independent record label for contemporary music that issues both improvised music and compositions, often combined in a peculiar interplay.
In 2020 he won the KLARA award for Best Belgian Jazz release with the album Porous Structures.

　
　
Frederik Leroux
フレデリック・ルルー（BE）は、ベルギー・ジャズと即興音楽の隠れた名手の一人である。長年にわたり、彼は控えめで、ユーモラスで、シュールな世界を作り上げ、そこで彼の音楽は最高の状態で発展している。
2012年、彼のトリオ（ルルー／ランドフェルマン／ブルグウィンケル）はファースト・アルバムを発表した。その他、Kris Vanderstraeten、Heleen Van Haegenborgh、Frans Van Isackerらと頻繁にコラボレーションしている。

Frederik Leroux (BE) is one of the hidden secrets of Belgian jazz and improvised music. Over the years, he created a modest, humorous, surreal universe where his music thrives at its best.
In 2012, his trio (Leroux/Landfermann/Burgwinkel) published their first album. Other frequent collaborators include Kris Vanderstraeten, Heleen Van Haegenborgh and Frans Van Isacker.

　
　
増渕 顕史
1984年生。主に東京で演奏活動を行う、アコースティックギター・ハーモニカ演奏家。
10代の頃より様々なロックグループでギタリストとして活動を行い、その後、ブルースを基調とした、よりミニマル・ドローン的性質を持つ音楽を志向し、実験と実践を繰り返す。 さらにその後、初期衝動の持続と音楽的探求のため、アコースティックギターを用いたソロでの即興演奏を開始。
自身の身体知と情動に基づき、意図性を排したリニアかつ自然発生的演奏を行うが、自身と場に起こるイレギュラーもそれはそれとして楽しむ。
特に音列と間の概念に関心を持つ。
2018年 R,R,R (Headlights Recordings)・Disappearing Foliage (Senri Records)２枚のソロアルバムをリリース。
又、2018年から即興音楽のためのオルタナティブスペース「Permian」の運営に携わり主な活動拠点としている。

Born in 1984. Tokyo-based guitarist and improviser.
Masabuchi has been playing guitar in a variety of groups since his teens.
He began performing improvisation as a member of Pelktopia, his project with Hironobu Shimazawa (launched in 2008). Since 2018 he has been devoting himself to acoustic guitar performance.
In that year he released two solo albums, R,R,R (CD, Headlights Recordings, Portugal) and Disappearing Foliage (cassette tape, Senri Records, Japan). He also releases collaborative albums with other musicians and contributes pieces to compilation recordings.
