Alexander Holm・Chris Shields(Vid Edda)
Vid EddaはSensorisk Verdenレーベル主催Alexander Holmと、RoやMarcel Du Swamp名義でも活動するChris Shieldsにより、2017年半ばにコペンハーゲンで結成されたデュオ・ユニット。 声やシンセシス、テープ音楽等の様々なサウンド・ソースを現代的ミュジーク・コンクリートの手法を援用し織り上げた怜悧な音像は、しかし自身のユニット名である北欧神話の古文書エッダ (Edda) の原初的荒涼世界に誘う北欧的幻惑コンクリートの趣。現在までに数本のテープ作品をリリース、最近では地元コペンハーゲンでWolf EyesのNate Youngらのサポートも務め、今後アジア、ヨーロッパ、北アメリカと巡演の予定です。

Behind Vid Edda is Alexander Holm and Chris Shields, artists and musicians working with experimental music often presented as travel rapports from the multiverse of our collective world brain. Since the two joined forces as Vid Edda in Copenhagen mid 17, they’ve developed a style of what one could call Mystique Concrete – a kind of distorted storytelling inside of/in front of/behind moving sound. A back-and-forth of voice, synthesis and tape music, documentative of real and imagined things – an audio diary of drawings with some informational log notes. Recommended for fans of staring upwards. Vid Edda performs in Asia, Europe and North America in 2019.

Soft Items
Soft Itemsは、過去に数多くの変名で作品をリリースしてきたコペンハーゲン地下音楽シーンのベテランClaus Haxholmによる最新のプロジェクト。自身の多様過ぎる音楽性を反映し多くの別名義を持つHaxholmは、Seiðr名義でブラック・メタル、Henbane名義ではDungeon synth、本人名義ではパフォーマンス・アートやサウンド・アート作品を、またQuest Removal名義ではPosh Isolationから昨年リリースされたCTMことCæcilie Trierの”Red Dragon” LPを部分プロデュースする等々、とても一口で語り切れない活動歴を持つアーティストです。そんな彼の最新名義Soft Itemsは、肉声による即興的アプローチを組み合わせた、MIDIとプリセット・サウンドの詩的な可能性の提示に主眼を置いています。

Claus Haxholm has been known under many pseudonyms as an artist, musician and writer – besides Playing as Soft Items Haxholm also releases black metal under the name Seiðr – makes dungeon synth as Henbane and more experimental music under his C.Haxholm moniker. Under his Quest Removal moniker he has produced for CTM and her new record Red Dragon released on Posh Isolation. With his new project Soft Items he works with highly dynamic electronics in combination with voice material in an improvised setting. Soft Items is working with the poetic possibilities of generic midi and preset sounds in combination with exploration of the human voice. Virtual surfaces meets the organic.

池田陽子 Yoko Ikeda
3歳よりクラシックヴァイオリンを始め
津田吉男氏に師事。20代半ばからバンド活動開始、その後即興音楽に出会う。
現在は都内で即興音楽を中心に演奏活動する。
また現代の実験的な作曲作品を演奏するSuidobashi Chamber Ensemble の一員として活動し、2016年と2017年には杉本拓、池田若菜らと共にヨーロッパツアーを行う。
その他、劇や朗読、踊りとの共演や映像作品の音楽など、幅広く活動中。
